NetOps Engineering Assistant, Student Team Lead

A recurring task, collecting data and formatting emails by hand, took about eight minutes each time. Follow-ups were hard to track, and routine operations such as ticket creation, reminder emails, backups, and network access control tasks were done manually.

• Built a website that automates the data collection and email formatting.
• Added a dashboard that tracks sent emails and flags follow-up reminders.
• Wrote Python and Ansible scripts for ticket creation, reminder emails, backups, and network access control tasks.
• Designed an internal bookmarks website for the student team.

• Cut the recurring task from eight minutes to 15 seconds (about 97% faster).
